It was a fun adventure. I'm still tired and its cold here!!! I really loved the crafting and sightseeing parts.
You'll have to wait until the weekend for me to have some energy to upload some photographs. I've done a little bit in my journal today... maybe a craft evening is in store....

Ireland Packing Etc
Almost time for our holiday. Yesterday was a lovely day! Nice and sunny. And what should have been a quick 10 minute trip to town turned into a couple hours and buying a few more things. Both me and Mom got some gorgeous furry gilets from FatFace to take on holiday.
I guess I should go pack a few more things now. My wonderful brother is being our taxi to the airport. I wish I could find those little tags I bought to go in our travel album.... oh well... I'll find them when we get back.

These Boots.... Layout
I've found out that I like to see the progress of a layout. I've had the idea to take this photograph for a while and made myself take it yesterday. I got a new sunburst template so tried it out on this layout. Originally I just drew a brown line around the stencil and then I remembered that I had this transparency from Hambly. But using the whole sheet just looked too busy so I drew the stencil on the transparency and cut out the sunbursts.
I ripped some strips from some cloud patterned paper that I've had for a while, and added some Tim Holtz Ribbon Ruler with my tiny attacher. (I love my tiny attacher)!
I finished the layout with AC thickers and KaiserCraft stickers to spell out "The boots are made for walkin'". Wrote some simple journaling along the sunburst lines. I'm trying to make more of an effort to use the letter stickers and add more to my layouts to make them look really amazing. Is there anything else I could add?

Rearranging Space.
My new office area/desk for the laptop. I spent an hour trying to get connected to the wifi internet!!!!! so just ended up moving the laptop over here. I sort of like it. My 'new' desk is quite high but that's something easy to get used too. It means I won't be slouching as much and I will be sitting here typing properly. It feels more officie too - if that makes sense.
I just need to get some pens and notepaper over here so I can jot things down, and we need to get the noticeboard up on the wall too. I've added two craft related posters already. (One from papercoterie and one from scrapbook.com's facebook page.)
I am definately going to like having a whole desk for my craft work and not having to share some of the space with computerly stuff... Just need to figure out what to do with the printer cable and tidy up a little.
