Today was a nice pink painterly day. I'm actually out of pink paint right now. The black bits in the above photograph are the wooden pages of my Camera Album. I wanted to have black pages so my colour photographs will really pop out. Journalling will be on strips of white card.... I will show you when it's finished. (hopefully this year).
This photograph of the pink nail polish has been sitting on my desk for a few months and I finally got round to scrapping it today. I sprayed pink mist over the ampersand mask then used the inner from an empty roll of double sided tape as a circle stamp. Drew black lines around some of circles and the "&". Cut out a circle to used doubled up foam dots to cover a blank space in the photograph, and finished it off with simple glittered alphabet letters from American Crafts (which have been sitting around here for a while). I'm just leaving it to dry completely before putting it in the album.

Something's been telling me to go PINK
Okay, I love pink anyway. I LOVE this colour! But it just seems to be my rebellious nature that since Race for Life (which we are doing in a few weeks encourages the use of PINK) I don't want a single drip of Pink on me. But this last week something has been telling me that my finger nails NEED to be a bright zingy PINK pink!
I'm giving in to my girly girly side for a while.

Black And Pink
I love black and hot pink together!
This card has a simple 5x5 black base. I couldn't find my Spellbinders so I cut the scallop circle out by hand from pink alligator effect paper. A 3" circle punched from the same shade of pink paper as the background and has a glittered pink card lace design glued on.
This one I'm still not sure about. I started by punching out a circle of pink card and used my black ink and the reverse of the pink lace cardstock (I haven't checked, but I hope the front will be ink free so I can still use it on some card). The pink and black dotted paper (which reminds me of some ribbon I once had), the dots are from my latest embossing folder. I 'colored' the dots in with black pen. Once again, the scalloped circle is cut by hand, with a bit of doodling too.
Today, I have made about three sets of Christmas cards, and still have lots of great creative ideas to get done tomorrow.
