It seems like you need a sentiment in the center, like stamp "happy holidays" on cardstock, cut it out and attach with a pop dot. or something. Maybe ink the edges of the card too with green or red ink. You could also put some ribbon on it as well somewhere. The patterned paper is really cute! Love em!
I'm with Karen - the first thing I thought of was to add a sentiment. I'd do something layered, so stamp a greeting and punch it out and then mat it on a slightly larger punched shape. That's just me though, I don't seem to be able to make cards these days without a sentiment on the front. The cards are looking very cool as they are - that paper is gorgeous! Thanks for the sweet comment on my Corrosive Challenge entry by the way, I appreciate that!
Jen: Oh my, I am so glad you stopped by the DCRU Friday tutorial and left a message. I do love these cards... The bright designs are eye catching. And they certainly can stand alone without a message on the outside. I just had wonderful friends here in May from Dunedin, NZ. What fun that was. Carole DCRU DT
